Span direction

Hi,

Where can i specify the span direction to my slabs so that the analysis can distribute the loads accordingly.

Hello Faheem.

Seems like this question got a long waiting time. I am sorry for that.

The regular slabs always are multi-directional and they will distribute the loads to everywhere according to stiffness.

If you mean just the x' and y' direction then these can be set by using the "Change direction" tool. Make sure you have the "Display local system" turned on in the settings for shells.

Then use the "Change direction" tool:

Common ways to control these things are Edge connections and the orthotropy settings of the Plane plate tool.
