Labelled section / Virtual bar

Hi, 1) Is there a way to select individual finite elements to include in virtual bar instead of entire surfaces? 2) Is it possible to define a closed section with two or more "outstand" parts for labelled sections? Imagine a trapetzoidal stiffener with its corresponding part of a bridge deck plate. /Poja
