I would like to add a custom-profiled plate from a manufacturer - see attached dwg-file.

Is there a clever way of importing this and obtaining the correct stiffness values of the orthotopic shell element?

Hi Jan,
It's possible to make a custom section in Section Editor and then save it into the section library. There's a step-by-step guide on it here: Trapezoidal Steel Sheet
